Obituary of David Paul Bonacchi

David P. Bonacchi of East Rochester passed away December 24, 2017 at age 62 after a courageous battle with brain cancer. He was predeceased by his parents, Beverly and Anthony Bonacchi. Dave is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Rosanne; 3 devoted sons, Ryan (Angela), Michael (Nicole) and Eric (Megan); 2 grandchildren, Vincenzo and Giorgio; 3 brothers, Paul, Greg (Jackie) and Stephen (Mary Kay); brother-in-law, Robert (Kathy) DiMarco; aunts, uncles, Nieces, Nephews, cousins and many dear friends. Dave was a lifetime public servant to his country and community, serving in the US Army from 1973-1976 and 35 years as East Rochester police officer (Sergeant), Mayor and Town Justice. He was a very accomplished golfer, winning the NY State Amateur Golf Tournament in 1994. Dave's family would like to thank the medical team at the Wilmot Cancer Center Neuro-Oncology Unit and the staff and caregivers at Shepherd Home and Christina Morabito for their exceptional care. PLEASE PARK IN THE EAST ROCHESTER HIGH SCHOOL PARKING LOT, WHERE A SHUTTLE BUS WILL RUN CONTINUOUSLY TO THE FUNERAL HOME AND BACK. Friends may call at Harloff Funeral Home, 803 S. Washington St., East Rochester, Thursday 12Noon-2 and 5-8PM. Dave's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday 9AM at St. Jerome's Church, 207 S. Garfield St., East Rochester.
