Obituary of David D. Rebis
David Dominic Rebis born July 28th, 1951 in Rochester, NY has passed away on February 7, 2025. He was predeceased by his mother, Yolanda; his brother, Robert Rebis; and his best friend, Jim Karalia.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Carla, who dearly cherished him and will miss him every moment of every day. He was a devoted father to David Moses and Sarah Rose Rebis; John, Jeremy, and Rebekah Pellicano; Rachel (Matthew) Olpinski; and Joshua Noah Rebis. He was a loving grandfather to his grandson, Henry Robert Olpinski.
David is also survived by his brothers: Tom (Geri) Rebis, John (Patti) Rebis, Guy (Susan) Rebis, and Patrick Rebis. He held a special place in his heart for Caleb, Catherine, and Emily, whom he had hoped to know and earnestly prayed for.
David was a street preacher in downtown Rochester, NY in his younger days with his good friends Kevin Deagan and Gary Ritz.
He was a rugged, yet humble man and a gentleman of the finest quality, who shared his many talents freely. His eyes were always fixed on Jesus, his Lord and Savior, with whom he now rejoices with in eternity.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 16th, from 3-6pm at Harloff Funeral Home, 803 S. Washington St., East Rochester.
A service for David will be held on Monday, February 17th, 12:00pm at All Season's Chapel in White Haven Memorial Park.
