Walter Dorofy, 97, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He is survived by his beloved wife, Rita; his children, Debra (Peter) Demarco, Stephen (Rosalba) Dorofy, and Donna (John) Bazelmans, as well as 11 grandchildren and many, many great-grandchildren who were blessed to know and love him.

Walter was a man of great skill and passion, finding joy in woodworking, gardening, and traveling. His hands built more than just furniture; they crafted a lifetime of memories for those he loved. He loved his time outdoors, tending to his gardens or taking long walks. But above all, his greatest joy was in the time spent with his family.Walter’s legacy will live on in the lives he touched and the lessons he passed down.

Family and friends are invited to join the family to celebrate his life at calling hours on Monday, March 3rd from 4pm-7pm at Harloff Funeral Home, 803 South Washington Street, East Rochester, NY.  His Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, March 4th at 10:00am at St Jerome’s Church, 207 Garfield Street, East Rochester, NY.
