Obituary of Brian Pyfrom
Brian David Pyfrom “Flyin’Brian” age 58 of East Rochester, NY passed away on February 28, 2025 in Rochester, NY.
Casual celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, 3/8/25, at Noon at Lemoncello’s in East Rochester, NY. Burial will be private. Harloff Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements.
Brian was born in Rochester, NY to David and Catherine Pyfrom on August 16, 1966. He went to high school at East Rochester graduating in 1984. He went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in history from SUNY Oswego. After working on computers became more commonplace Brian realized he had a wealth of knowledge in this area and found himself working in technical support for many years.
Throughout his life he enjoyed reading (especially anything under the subject of history), traveling, watching and playing golf, camping, karaoke, spending time with relatives and friends, and was an avid Steelers fan. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making those around him smile and laugh. Brian could tell you many details on the subject of history. To the point he was nicknamed “The Professor” by his brother-in-law, as anywhere Brian went there was a history lesson he would work into the conversation.
Brian is survived by his loving spouse, Christine Pyfrom, and loving son, Dylan Pyfrom, both of East Rochester, NY. Also survived by his parents, David and Sharon Pyfrom; mother-in-law, Mary Veremeychik; brothers, Mark (Amy) Pyfrom, Todd (Amy) Merry, and Scott (Ruth) Merry; brother-in-law, Steven (Katie) Veremeychik; nephews, Andrew, Evgeni, Joel, Xavier, and Brady; niece Evelyn, many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and numerous dear friends.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, June and Theodore Pyfrom, maternal grandparents, Harold and Geraldine Kiehle, his mother, Catherine Pyfrom, niece, Natalie, and nephew, Noah.
