Marilyn Pearl Acquisto-Urzetta

May 2, 1941 – September 19, 2025

Cherished Mother, Sister, Daughter, Wife, Mother-in-law, Dog -Grandma.

Marilyn is predeceased by her parents Louis and Grace Acquisto, husband, Frederick Urzetta, and sister Rosella Peterson (Donald).  She is survived by her three children, Sammy Urzetta, Tracey Johnston (Paul), and Jeffrey Urzetta (Sandra), her brother Micky Acquisto (Vicki), and several very special cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.  Marilyn is also survived by her beloved grand-dogs, Zeke, Copper, Kiki and Baylee for whom she always had plenty of treats and often opened her home.

Born in Jamestown, NY, Marilyn grew up on Chautauqua Lake.  She loved to share memories of her life on the lake and especially enjoyed her trips home to Chautauqua to reconnect with family.

Marilyn attended Nazareth College which led to her career as a St. Jerome’s School Teacher.  She continued to touch the lives of many young people, families and colleagues while working for East Rochester Schools until her retirement.  Marilyn’s kindness remains a blessing to all who knew her.

A Memorial Mass in celebration of her life will be held at 9:30 am on October 25, 2025, at St. Jerome’s Church, 207 Garfield Street East Rochester, NY 14445.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to The Bemus Point-Stow Ferry PO Box 339 Bemus Point, NY 14712.
