Barry passed away peacefully on November 17, 2025. He is predeceased by his parents Harold Peets and Eva Peets (Kozak), and his son Jerry Colbert.

Survived by his Loving wife Pamela Hughes-Peets; sons, Michael Peets (Danielle), Marcus Hughes; granddaughters, Violet and Lilianna Peets; loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and in-laws. 

Barry loved to spend time with his sons and granddaughters, especially going fishing with his sons. He loved going to the Adirondack Mountains, fishing, hiking and searching for big foot. Barry truly loved doing anything that involved being out in nature as well as spending time tinkering in his garage.

Visitation will be held at Harloff Funeral Home on Sunday, November 23, 2025 at 2-5 pm. His celebration of life will be held following the visitation on Sunday, November 23, 2025 at Bocaccinis, 6720 Pittsford Palmyra Rd, Fairport NY 14450. Burial at White Haven will be privately held on November 24, 2025.
