It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jean Marie Marasco, who left us on November 19, 2025, at the age of 92. Jean lived a life full of love, laughter, and generosity that touched everyone who knew her. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother who never stopped caring for her children and grandchildren.

Jean found joy in simple pleasures. She loved to walk, get outside, and enjoy nature with her beloved dog, Sable. Her love for the one-armed bandits and the excitement of the casino brought her many happy moments. Jean was a fixture at the East Rochester and Perinton senior centers, where she cherished her time playing cards, bingo, and enjoying the companionship of her dear friends.

Family meant the world to Jean. She was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Judith Ann Purdy, and her brother, George Martin. She leaves behind her sons, Michael (Elena) and Mark (Stacy), who will carry forward her legacy of love and kindness. Her grandchildren, Taisia, Pietra, Sierra, Mary, and Macy were her pride and joy; she adored each of them deeply. Jean is also survived by her sister, Norma Pringle.

A visitation will be held 4-7 PM on November 25, at Harloff Funeral Home, 803 South Washington Street. 

A graveside service will be held at 10 AM, on November 26, at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 2461 Lake Avenue.
