Martin Thomas Marianetti, Sr., age 96, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on November 11,1929, Marty lived a long and full life marked by dedication to family, hard work, and an unwavering generosity of spirit.
Marty built a life rooted in integrity, resilience, and values. He was known for his steady presence, quick wit, and strong work ethic - traits that touched countless lives over the decades. Whether sharing a story, lending a helping hand, offering a word of wisdom, or playing a game of cards or golf, Marty had a gift for bringing a competitive spirit and close connection wherever he went.
Marty was born to Italian immigrant parents, Guerino and Anita Marianetti, and was predeceased by them as well as by his wife, Bertha (Guetti) Marianetti. He was the devoted father of six children: Martin Marianetti, Jr., Armand Marianetti (Nancy “Kal” Wysokowski), Robert F. Marianetti (Brett Baron-Marianetti), Stella Marianetti (David Walker), Susan Marianetti (Biagio Nobile), and Sharon Marianetti-Leeper (Peter Leeper). He was a proud grandfather to eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
An alum of The Aquinas Institute of Rochester and Korean War Veteran, Marty’s legacy is one of love, loyalty, and the deep joy he found in his family, his work, and his friends. His memory will live on in the stories shared, the traditions passed down, and the countless moments of laughter and guidance he gave to those fortunate enough to know him. Because of him and Bertha, 25 people live and flourish, and that is his greatest legacy of all.
