Rosalie A. Wilder Obituary

Born March 25, 1944, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2025.  Predeceased by her parents, Attilio and Jemma George, and her husband, Paul Carey.  Survived by her sisters, Violet Castro and Evelyn George Kotowicz (David Kotowicz), many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Rosalie lived a full and meaningful life, devoted to her family and friends.

After retiring from many years of working at a bank, she spent her time volunteering at Camp Good Days and Special Times, Ronald McDonald Sales, and Gleaners Soup Kitchen.  Her love for traveling included trips to Italy, cruises and other vacations throughout the U.S. that included time spent with family and friends.

Her home in Canandaigua brought her many special friends whom she loved dearly.

She treasured her family and expressed her love for them in many ways.

Her funeral mass will be Wednesday, December 17th, 9:30 AM at St. Jerome’s Church in East Rochester.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Camp Good Days and Special Times.
