Peter Robert Meyer, age 89, died on January 3rd 2026 at the Fairport Baptist Home in Fairport, New York.

He was born on November 8th 1936 in Rochester New York to Frederick and Vivian Meyer. Peter was the oldest of nine children. Before he retired, he worked as a machinist at Hansford Manufacturing. He also served as a volunteer firefighter at Macedon Center Fire Department for many years.

Beloved by many, Peter is preceded in death by his wife Carole and two oldest children Deborah and Gregory. He is survived by his son Todd, five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. He loved spending time with family and friends, camping, watching sports, playing Euchre, and solving the Daily Jumbles in the newspaper. 

Family and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at 10AM, on January 8th, 2026, at the All Seasons Chapel located at White Haven Memorial Park - 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford, NY.
