Carmella Marie (Pecora) Heintzelman

East Rochester, NY – Passed away on January 7th, 2026 at the age of 80. 

Predeceased by her parents, Pasquale and Savia Pecora; husband, Richard; son-in-law, Thomas Shirtz.

She is survived by her sister, Paula Pecora; three children, Donna Garno, Robert Heintzelman, and Michelle Shirtz; grandchildren, Amber (Cody) Clement, Kathryn (Jeff) Pringle, Richard (Serena) Heintzelman, Patrick Garno, Taylor (Ryan) Lorenzen, Theresa Shirtz, Tegan Shirtz and Tori Shirtz; eight great-grandchildren; as well as many other family members and dear friends.

Carmie will be well remembered for her love of entertaining and gatherings where she enjoyed cooking and baking for those she loved. 

Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, January 13th, from 4-7 pm at Harloff Funeral Home, 803 S. Washington St., East Rochester. Her Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 14th, at 10:00am at St. Jerome’s Church, 207 Garfield St., East Rochester
