Joseph Leo Abdallah of East Rochester passed away on February 28, 2026 at the age of 87.

Joseph was predeceased by his beloved wife, Cynthia Abdallah (née James). He is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth and Morgan Abdallah; his grandson Jackson Parker; his brother, John Abdallah; several nieces and nephews, and many other members of his large, extended family.

Born and raised in Massena, New York, Joseph was inducted into the Massena Football Hall of Fame. He honorably served his country in the United States Army and attended the University of Maryland and Rochester Institute of Technology.

Joseph dedicated his career to the ironworking trade and was a proud, devoted member of Rochester, NY Iron Workers Local 33 for more than 50 years.

Friends may call at Harloff Funeral Home, 803 S. Washington Street, East Rochester, on Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Joseph’s Funeral Service will be held  2:00 p.m. at All Seasons Chapel at White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford.
