Eleanor (DeBerardinis) Greco of East Rochester peacefully passed away on March 3rd, 2026, at the age of 90.
She is predeceased by her husband, Anthony Greco; her sister, Ann Scura, and brother, Achilles DeBerardinis. She is survived by her children, Valerie Greco, Anthony (Kelley) Greco, and Diane Greco; her grandchildren, Tommy (Allison) Quinzi, Joe (Katie) Quinzi, and many other nieces and nephews.
Eleanor was a true child of East Rochester. She was born, raised, and lived in the village. After graduating from East Rochester High School in 1954, she met her husband, Anthony, and they were married in 1961. Eleanor’s life was enriched by the love she gave as both a devoted mother, and a steadfast friend. Her home was the hub of the neighborhood and the place where family gathered. She treasured lifelong friendships that began in grade school, a testament to her loyalty and warmth. Eleanor was a gifted cook and enjoyed bringing people together while creating dishes from different cuisines. Later in life, she loved to travel and hear about her grandchildren’s lives. Eleanor will be well-remembered for being the heart of her home and community.
Family and friends are invited to visit at Harloff Funeral Home, 803 S. Washington Street, East Rochester, on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Eleanor’s Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. at St. Jerome’s Church, 207 Garfield Street, East Rochester. Burial will be at White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider a donation in her memory to the Parkinson’s Foundation or St. Jerome’s Church.
