Janet Weinstein (nee Atfield) – East Rochester
2/1/1950 - 3/26/2026
Predeceased by her parents, Daniel and Olga Atfield; brother Daniel (Doc) Atfield; and son, Adam Weinstein. Survived by her husband of 56 years, Burt Weinstein; daughter-in-law, Cindy Weinstein; sister, Elaine Lawler; sister-in-laws, Suzanne (Doc) Atfield and Betty Umoff. Also survived by her nephew, Chris (Ashley) Atfield; nieces, Amy Atfield and Laura (Michael) Hall; as well as, several great-nieces, a great-nephew, cousins, friends and neighbors.
Janet grew up and resided in East Rochester. She previously worked at Harris Interactive in Market Research. She was an avid reader, enjoyed going on day trips with Burt, frequently visiting wineries, festivals and casinos. She enjoyed Adam’s years growing up playing sports in school, and later time with Adam and Cindy.
Her family thanks the staff at Strong Memorial Hospital respiratory ICU, and Crest Manor where she recently resided.
The family would like to invite you to visitation at Harloff Funeral Home in East Rochester on Thursday, April 2nd 11am-1pm, followed by a Graveside Service at White Haven Memorial Park at 1:30pm.
