Peter H. Spencer

November 11, 1941 - April 11, 2026             

Peter Spencer passed away peacefully on April 11, 2026, at age 84. He was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Helen Spencer, and his brother, Gregory Spencer.

Peter is survived by his long-time companion and life partner, Caryl Chance; his children Christopher Spencer (Lisa), Elizabeth Sanders, Katherine Metcalfe (Mark), James Spencer (Jessica), Jennifer Elahi (Babak), and Margaret Panepento (James); 13 grandchildren; his brother, Kenneth Spencer (Donna); Brian Spencer (Pamela); Pamela Ford (Dan); and many nieces and nephews.

Peter loved chocolate, long walks with his dog Skotr, quiet evenings with Caryl, and small family gatherings.

In keeping with Peter’s wishes, the family will hold a private gathering to celebrate his life and the legacy he leaves behind.
