Obituary of Patrick K. O'Connor

Patrick Kevin O’Connor passed away unexpectedly on July 25, 2023 at age 57. He is predeceased by his parents, John F. O’Connor and Marceline O. O’Connor, and brother, David O’Connor. He is survived by wife, Jill O’Connor; lovely daughters, Deidra [Eric] Woodin and MacKenzie O’Connor; grandsons, Colby, Wesley, Landon, Oliver, Theodore and Douglas; brothers, Michael (Erin) O’Connor, Timothy (Becky) O’Connor and Sean O’Connor; sisters, Wendy Heckman, Maureen (Vance) Kannapel, Sheila (Chuck) Goeff and Heather O’Connor; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends. Patrick attended Corpus Christi and Fairport schools. He enjoyed the outdoors; camping, fishing and swimming in his younger years. Later adding target shooting at his brother’s camp to his list of outdoor activities. He loved animals, especially his dogs. Pat was a great craftsman and carpenter who took pride in his work. He worked in the industry for many years. He was always willing to lend a hand and always looking for a new adventure. He had a great laugh and sense of humor. He was a caring father. He was the fun uncle. At times, he was a slick one. When the game was over, he would be holding the most quarters. He enjoyed a good movie, especially comedies and suspenseful thrillers. You often found him with a cup of coffee in his hand or enjoying a piece of hard candy. Patrick was a good spirit, full of character and full of a belief in God, a God personal to him. For the things he loved and those he loved, a kid at heart always, a beautiful soul, best bud. God bless my brother Patrick. Very much loved, our Patty-kin will be greatly missed.
