James lived a full life that included many interests and activities. He participated in golf and bowling leagues throughout the years. Camping with family and friends consumed the summers. He had a fondness for history in which he traveled to many historical sites. Travelling on vacations or rendezvousing for family gatherings were always in the plan. He enjoyed recreational fishing and the outdoors. During special occasions playing board games, cards, with friends, and family. No matter what the event his social life was abundant. James was a man that possessed many wonderful qualities. At the core, his pride and love were in his family. He was always present for any special occasion whether it was here locally or out of state. Wherever he went there was sure to be a memory created. Building friendships in social situations came easy to him. He would give advice but was never judgmental. His generosity was boundless. Whether it was a family member or a friend he was always was there to help no matter what the circumstances. His uncanniness to have the ability to laugh at his faults but never take them too seriously. He kept learning all the way throughout his life looking for better solutions on any level.
