Obituary of Eleanor B Galante

Eleanor Laguda Galante of Penfield passed peacefully at age 90 on June 25th 2016. She was predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Josephine Laguda; niece Keri Ann Manuszak; brothers in law Joseph Cooper and Andrew Cort. Eleanor is survived by her husband of 53 years, Michael Galante; son, Scott (Cheryl) Galante; granddaughter, Anna Marissa Galante; sister, Ann Cooper; sisters in law, Yolanda Cort and Marian (Ron) DiMino; nieces, Linda (Raymond) Manuszak, Sharon and Corinna Senestraro, and Cara DiMino; nephews, Marc Manuszak, Mark and Dominic DiMino, and Lucas Senestraro; cousins, Gloria and Judith Emmanuel and Carol (Vishnu) Chopra. The family would like to express sincere thanks to the staff at Highland Hospital for the care that was provided. At Eleanor's request there will be no calling hours. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 29th 10:00am at St Jerome's Church, 207 Garfield St., East Rochester NY. Interment will follow in White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider donations to the Keri Ann Manuszak Family Endowment Scholarship at Aquinas High School in Eleanor's memory.
