Obituary of Sharon A. Rizzo
Rizzo, Sharon A. (Burrus)
East Rochester: Friday September 23, 2011. After a lengthy battle with cancer, Sharon passed away peacefully with her caring family surrounding her. Heaven now has a new angel. Survived by her loving husband, Antonio Rizzo; children, Cathy Scumaci (Joe) and Sam Rizzo (Jill); cherished grandchildren, Samantha, Cortney, Brian and Nolan; siblings, Debbie, Bud, Dawn (Jeff), Kim (Kevin); many loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends. Predeceased by her mother, Doris A. (Cameron) Sortino.Throughout her life Sharon's caring and loving heart drove her to be involved with many worthwhile organizations/charities to benefit others.
Friends may call SUNDAY 4-8pm at the HARLOFF Funeral Home, 803 South Washington Street in East Rochester. Sharon's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00pm(Noon) on MONDAY at St. Jerome's Church. Entombment in White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to TEAM Sharon, in care of the Making Strides Against Cancer Rochester Walk (to be held Oct. 2nd).
