Obituary of Roseann D. LaFay

LaFay, Roseann D. Fairport: Roseann D. LaFay, age 66, died Friday evening at her residence surrounded by her immediate family. She was born October 18, 1943, in Johnsonburg, PA daughter of the late Enrico and Marian (Vavala) Dellaquila. Roseann is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Anthony P. LaFay and their children: Marie (Philip) Byrne, Joseph (Jayne) LaFay and Michael (Kristen) LaFay; grandchildren, Victoria & Cecelia Byrne, Graceann & Robert LaFay, Mary Rose, John & Tom LaFay; three brothers; Pat (Jacie) Dellaquila of Johnsonburg, PA, Tom (Frances) Dellaquila of Fairport, NY, John (Ann) Dellaquila of Holly, NY, sister-in-law, Marie (Steve) Dellaquila of Fairport, NY; aunts, uncles, many nieces & nephews and numerous dear friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary (John) Viglione and Grace (Chester) Viola and two brothers, Steve and Joseph (Irma) Dellaquila. Friends may call MONDAY 4-7pm at the HARLOFF Funeral Home 803 South Washington Street in East Rochester. A Mass of Christian Burial for Roseann will be celebrated at St. John of Rochester, where she was a devout parishioner for more than forty years on TUESDAY at 9:30 am. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. Memorials, if desired, may be made to The American Cancer Society.
