Obituary of Virginia S. Ludwig

Ludwig, Virginia (Sharp) Victor/Canandaigua: Virginia Ludwig passed away at the age of 98 on Monday February 13th, 2012 at the M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center in Canandaigua. Predeceased by her parents, Dr. Everett and Bernine Welch Sharp; her husband, William, and many friends. Ginnie is survived by her son, Jerry Ludwig (Sarah Rockwell) of Brighton; her granddaughter, Jessica Custis (Steven) and her two great granddaughters, Marguerite Custis and Virginia Custis all of Pungoteague, VA. Ginnie was born in Victor and spent nearly all of her life there. She graduated from Vassar College (Phi Beta Kappa, 1935) and later took graduate work at Syracuse University. Ginnie was active in the Victor Presbyterian Church and the Victor Free Library. She loved to read, travel and spend summers on Canandiagua Lake.
