Obituary of Edward James McPhee

McPhee, Edward J. "Dink" Henrietta: Formerly of East Rochester, March 8, 2012 at the age of 88. Predeceased by his wife, Mary Elizabeth "Liz"; brothers, Jack & Jerry and his sister, Wilma. Survived by his son, Lance; daughter, Debra; brothers, Raymond (Betty), Daniel & Walter; sisters, Lillian (Robert) Granunic & Dorothy (Tom) Kenny; several nieces & nephews. Edward was a US Marine Corps Veteran of WWII (Pacific Theatre) and Korea. He was retired from Gleason Works (30 years) and from the US Postal Service (30 years). He was active for many years in the East Rochester Volunteer Fire Dept. both Active and Exempts. He was a member of Genesee Valley Marine Corps League Detachment 223 and the Korean War Veterans Chapter 1 and was active as a scoutmaster and commissioner in the Boy Scouts for 8 years. Friends may call MONDAY EVENING 7-9pm and TUESDAY 2-4, 7-9pm at the HARLOFF Funeral Home 803 South Washington Street in East Rochester. Edward's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am on WEDNESDAY at St. Jerome's Church. Interment in White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution in Edward's memory to the East Rochester Volunteer Fire Dept. 415 Main Street East Rochester, NY 14445.
