Obituary of Alexander Frank Lamutis

Lamutis, Alexander Pittsford: August 11, 2012 at age 92. Predeceased by his wife, Josephine and his parents, Alexander & Anna Lamutis. Survived by his children, Donald (Marjorie) Lamutis & Jeanie (Gary) Rauber; grandchildren, Danielle Lamutis, David (Ellen) Comisar, Melanie (David) Abkowitz, Jonathan Comisar and Erin & Jennifer Rauber; dear companion, Lucy Lanzatella and special friends, John Lanzatella & Family. Special Thanks to Donna & David Gates for all their care and support. Alex was a radio announcer for 30+ years at WBBF in Rochester and was the Voice of the Fingerlakes with WGVA in Geneva. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII and was a member of the Rayson-Miller American Legion Post #899 in Pittsford. Alex was also a past president of AFTRA (American Federation of Radio & Television Artists) and S.A.M. (Society of American Magicians) and he volunteered for the Elderberry Express in Pittsford for 10 years. A Graveside Service for Alex will be held at 10:00am on FRIDAY in White Haven Memorial Park - Please Meet at the Gate. (No Prior Calling).
