Obituary of William J. Connell

William J. Connell Jr. of East Rochester passed away November 27, 2018 at age 94. He was predeceased by his wife, Catherine E. Connell; and brother, Donald Connell.  Bill is survived by 3 daughters and 2 sons, Kathleen (Tom) Ludwig, Sheila (John) Scumaci, Terrance (Louise) Connell, William III (Robyn) Connell and Maryellen (Richard) McPhee; 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and many dear friends.  Bill was a WWII Army Veteran and a Purple Heart recipient.  He retired as a Lieutenant with the Rochester Police Department.

Friends may call at Harloff Fueral Home, 803 S. Washington St., East Rochester, Monday 4-7PM.  Bill's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday 10AM at St. Jerome's Church, 207 Garfiled Street, East Rochester.  Interment will take place in White Haven Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, kindly consider Masses offered in Bill's memory.
