Obituary of Mary Delores DiCesare
Mary Delores DiCesare of East Rochester passed away suddenly on 3/7/19. Delores is predeceased by her infant brother, Eugene; brother, Frank Platino; parents, Mary and Rocco Platino; and father-in-law, Leonard J. DiCesare. She leaves behind her loving husband, Leonard; son, Nicholas (Gracie) DiCesare; daughter, Christina (Aaron) Becker; adoring grandchildren, Ariana and Gia DiCesare, Jacob and Lucy Becker; sister, Eugenia (Robert) Stratton; brother, Rocco (Christine) Platino; mother-in-law, Carmella DiCesare; sister-in-law, Carol (Raymond) Iddings; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Delores was an art teacher for several years in the Victor School District and substitute teacher in the East Rochester School District. She loved taking care of and doing arts and crafts with her grandchildren, traveling, and casino trips with her sisters and friends.
Friends may call Sunday, March 10, 2-6 PM at Harloff Funeral Home, 803 S. Washington St., East Rochester. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, March 11, 10 AM at St. Jerome's Church, 207 Garfield St., East Rochester. Interment White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Delores' name to Golisano Children's Hospital, 601 Elmwood Ave. Rochester, NY 14642.
