Uncle Don,
Although I left the vicinity many decades ago, there's not a day I don't pick up a wrench or work on a car which invokes fond memories of you and Aunt Geri. You'd be proud of my garage, filled with a classic car, motorcycle, and lots of other motor vehicles. As I said, even though you faded from my physical life, you left an impression and feelings which will always be fondly remembered.
With D Day being celebrated tomorrow, it leaves me with pride that you lived a full and rewarding life. I look forward to seeing you again. Rest in peace, as you so deservingly have earned. I salute you.
