Obituary of Charles William Higbie

Higbie, Charles W. Rochester: May 1. 2010. He is survived by his wife, Emilee; son, Craig; daughter, Diane Sullivan; granddaughters, Gavin Sullivan & Melissa Higbie; brother, Lewis and nieces & nephews. At the age of seventeen, Charles received the Boy Scouts Citation and the Rochester Safety Council Service Award for saving a woman's life. In the 1950's, the Higbie Softball Leagues were a popular part of the Rochester sports scene. Charles was a member of Oak Hill Country Club for 62 years. Services and entombment in White Haven Memorial Park will be at the convenience of the family.
