Dear David, Steven and family,
I am sad to read that your mom has passed, however, I am rejoicing that she is with your dad whom I know she was missing so very much when last I was with her. (Apr. 30) Your mom was a joy to care for! She had a wry sense of humor that never ceased to amaze me at times! She brought me joy so often when I needed it most! And always told me I was "such a nice person." I loved her, truly. I am relieved that she is at peace now after a long and wonderful life. It is a dear loss for us as children when our mama's pass, no matter how old they are. We want them to stay with us forever, don't we. But, having been through this myself for only 2 years, I will tell you that she will be with you forever. You will still hear her voice, feel her touch, and sense her renewed presence in your days! I promise you that. May God bless you and comfort you as you come to live your days without her in them physically. And, David.....you were probably the reason she held on for so long... being there nearly every day to help her was a genuine gift and blessing for both of you!
