Life is funny, somehow I have known Gordy for 30+ years. We met playing cards in ER back in the crazy eighties and kept in touch all these years. Gordy was one of those guys who wanted you to think he did not give a s**t about anything, he fancied himself a real tough guy. The truth was is he was one of the nicest guys I knew. Whether it had been 5 weeks or 5 months since the last time we saw each other the first thing he would ask was how my wife and kids were doing, then inform me how much he envied me as I had such a wonderful family.
At the end of the day Gordon S Lamb was a good soul, and while we only saw each other a few times a year, I will really miss him...

I could sit here and tell the funny or less than flattering stories. But I want to take a minute and tell you about Gordy's softside. he had a big heart. And although things may not have worked out the way he wanted to sometimes he always meant well. I got arrested one night down at the strip in E.R. after a fight. I had been drinking.....heavily. The cops put me in the tank, after a healthy dose of pepper spray. I don't remember what time it was. But it was Gordy who came and got me out. I never forgot that. The times we had. Especially playing cards. Some of the funniest shit ever uttered was at that table. I really miss you bra. I'm sure me and the guys will throw some paper sooner or later. But it just will not be the same without you. Peace to you,Gordo♥️

RIP our friend! Your time has ended here, but you left a lot of great memories! Thanks for all the good laughs. You will be missed by so many friends! What a beautiful and perfect Obit! And so true.... you never knew what he would say or do and I would just laugh and say "that's Gordy" Until we meet again my friend! xo

Warm summer days at Mendon Valley Tennis and riding Club, hearing but not seeing Gorden's serve. Until the day of the speed gun.
I definitely agreed with him "that thing is taking 10mph off my severe". As I recall it really did affect his and my serves but for some reason not Don's his dad's.
I will always remember those warm days and Gorden's warm smile.

Spent many of nights after hours playing cards at someone's place,or just playing pick up football on Sundays. My favorite memory would have to be the night we went to Sea Breeze with Airzy and my roommate Mike Luciano. We unfortunately took an illegal substance (lol), and proceeded to go on some rides. Sporty had never been on the rockoplanes. I had the pleasure of sharing the ride with him. I would unlock the seat and spin it around to face the ground as we spun around. Gordy was screaming in terror every time around. You could hear Scott and Mike laughing on the other side of the ride, as a crowd of people watched. Don't think I ever laughed so hard in my life. I too lost touch with him over the years, but always considered him a great friend,he will be missed.

I knew the sporty one from school, football, and my brother. We had a great deal of fun in all. I was lucky enough to have stayed in touch with Gordon after high school through the various bars I was working at and he always had a huge smile and a kind word sandwiching a few jabs at my hair line or waist line! it was always good fun and if anyone was messing with me Gordon was right there to make sure I was ok. we lost touch sadly, but I will always have great memories. peace and love always G Gordon.
