I’m not sure if your mom was like mine but I can guarantee that she is proud. If anyone wondered why I am a nutty F, spend a minute with her and it will explain everything. Great-Grandfather Leon Roets was very proud of the many members of the family who served in the military. Jon was one of those who were Marines. It is a great sorrow that such a young man found no hope to continue. Grandpa and GrandmaDonna have loved you, Jon.. We pray for his family... that God will bless them with peace.... and the comfort that comes from knowing God loves him.... and welcomes him to his heavenly home.

John Letta you will always be a brother to me the stories we talked about when we were deployed and Afghanistan in 2011 will always be remembered I would always mess with you and call you a caveman and you would laugh and call me a boot Pog. Hahaha. You also had my back when gunny cherry yell at me for leaving the radio on the table in front of him and I walked off for 5 seconds to grab something else. I will always remember you as a great man and as a great Marine. 1/9 Alpha Co. Love you brother and I will see you eventually rest easy now.
