Obituary of Loretta Grace Celentano
Fairport - Saturday, February 29th, 2020. Loretta passed away peacefully at the age of 92, surrounded by her beloved family. She is predeceased by her husband of 70 years, John Celentano.
Loretta was best known in her family as Mamo and is survived by her three children: Fred (Kathy) Celentano, Paul (Sharon) Celentano, and Laurie Celentano; eight grandchildren: Don (Beth) McPherson, John Paul McPherson, Ryann (Pierce) Redmond, John Crofton (Kim) Celentano, Whitney Celentano, Taylor (Jay) Bernunzio, Danielle Wert and Jonnie Wert; and her seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Elma Archambeau of East Rochester and many nieces and nephews.
Loretta worked at RG&E and at St. Jerome’s Church in her home town of East Rochester but her greatest legacy is as the heart of her family who will dearly miss her spirit, humor, strength, compassion, and her smile.
Friends may call at Harloff Funeral Home Friday, March 13, 4-7 PM. Her Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, 10 AM at St. Jerome's Church, 207 Garfield St., East Rochester. Interment White Haven Memorial Park.
