My best memory camping at Cranberry Lake always had to have a site on the water. Grandpa Don and Uncle Steve would be out on the old red boat. Call Grandma Duvall and Aunt Nancy would sit on shore drinking coffee. Late at night we would have campfires and make s'mores. Sometimes raccoons would come up and they give us marshmallows to feed the raccoons and Nancy always got a laugh out of that.

So many loving memories of my Mom, she was kind, loving and a very caring mother. She was very bubbly and fun. My fondest memories are vacationing at Cranberry Lake with all of the Duval’s and the time Mom and I took a fun cruise together which was very special. It was difficult the last 5 years watching her memory and health decline but everyday she would tell me she loved me even though she could not remember my name. When I would tell her my name she would say “I thought so”. She knew I was her person that is all that mattered. She felt comfort having baby dolls to take care of in the nursing home and I my friend Deb gave her a baby where you would squeeze it and say something and the baby would repeat what you said in a baby’s voice. One day she must have held the button and the nurse was talking to her and it repeated what the nurse said and scared the heck out of the nurse lol. After Mom passed away I put the baby on the chair when we started to leave I picked it up and the baby doll cried. She laughed so much when the baby talked to her it brought her great joy! I will always treasure our time spent together and the loving relationship we had.

Memories of Nancy.... so many! But the ones that last a life time: her smile, her laughter, her kindness, caring, and thoughtfulness of others! She was a treasure to all who knew her. I loved going out to see her with my mother. She would do my mother's hair... and watch out when all the ladies got together...how much fun they had and laughed for hours. She was a blessing in my life and many others. Rest in peace Nancy, Love, Noreen
