Obituary of Alfred Galante

Alfred "Fred" Galante East Rochester - Fred passed away peacefully on May 13, 2020 at age 91. He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Josephine; daughters, Linda (Joseph) Morabito and Kathy (Dave) Young; grandchildren, Jacob (Sharon) Young, Claire (Sean) Scott, Andrew Morabito and Laura (Chris) Wilcox; 8 great-grandchildren; many special nieces, nephews and friends. Friends and customers will remember Fred as an owner/proprietor of Roosevelt Service Station in East Rochester. He served in the Army Air Corps 171st Bomb Group and was a member of the East Rochester American Legion Post 1917. Fred was an avid golfer and enjoyed his "Tee Times" both in Rochester and in Florida. His greatest love was spending time with his extended family, children and grandchildren. His smile will be greatly missed by many! A Memorial Mass and remembrance will be held at a date and time to be announced. Donations in his memory may be directed to The Church of St. Jerome in East Rochester.
