Obituary of Thelma Dorothy Girvin

Girvin, Thelma (Salmon) Penfield: Beloved mother, grandmother, sister & friend. She went to the Lord, December 10, 2012 at age 88. Predeceased by her husband, John and brothers, James & Gerald Salmon. Thelma was born October 22, 1924 and grew up on Jackson Road in Penfield. She is survived by her sons, John (Maureen) Girvin, Jr., Michael (Carol) Girvin & Tim Girvin; many grandchildren & great grandchildren; sister, Shirley Jones; brothers, Richard (Jeanette) Salmon & Ronald (Paula) Salmon; sister-in-law, Barbara Salmon; many nieces & nephews. Thelma was retired from Hoselton Chevrolet and Toyota where she served as office manager for 21 years. Friends may call THURSDAY 4-8pm at the HARLOFF Funeral Home, 803 South Washington Street, East Rochester. Thelma's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am on FRIDAY at St. Jerome's Church in East Rochester. Interment in Oakwood Cemetery.
