Obituary of William Leroy Gilbert

William Leroy Gilbert East Rochester - On July 10, 2020 at age 93. He is predeceased by his wife, Betty Jean. William is survived by his children, Laurie J. (Edward) Gilbert-Vahovick and Bruce F. Gilbert; grandsons, Edward (Lisa) Vahovick and Robert (Megan) Vahovick. William was a proud US Army veteran. He worked as a part-time teacher's aid at East Rochester Schools, as a florist in East Rochester for many years, as a service inspector at many plants in the Rochester area and also worked at Hickok Manufacturing. He had a love of theatre and was involved in the Pittsford Theatre as a performer and was in the Traveling Cabaret of Brighton where he was a singer and dancer.
