Nicholas Morabito East Rochester - Entered peacefully into rest December 10, 2020 at age 95. Predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Patricia; son, Nicholas III; parents, Anthony and Angeline Morabito. He is survived by his sons, Michael (Margaret), James (Cindy), David (Colette), Kevin (Cynthia), John (Leah), and Thomas (Judy); daughter-in-law, Dominique; 24 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; siblings, Frances, Mary, Teresa, Ralph (Marilyn), and Peggy; several nieces and nephews. A native of East Rochester and 1943 graduate of ERHS, Nick served in the US Navy during World War II. He graduated from the University of Miami with a law degree in 1952. That was where he met Patricia A. Robertson from Washington DC. They married and started a family. A long-time Attorney, Nick was a true pillar of the community. He served as the East Rochester School attorney from 1956 to 2013. While his contributions are too numerous to completely list, he also served as East Rochester Village Justice from 1960 to 1967, volunteered with Youth Football, Little League Baseball, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and was active in the American Legion and Rotary. Nick was easy going, lived a long, full, wonderful life, and always enjoyed a good laugh. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. He loved his family and friends, his country, his lifelong hometown of East Rochester, and of course, golf. A private ceremony will be held with his family at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
