Obituary of Maryann Szott
Maryann Gross Szott
Fairport - On January 11, 2021 at age 91. She is predeceased by her parents; long-time companion, Alfred Hilarski. Maryann is survived by her brother, Walter (Barbara) Gross Jr.; children, Sandra (Warren) Purdy, Ronald (Nanette) Szott and Cynthia (Vincent) Beebe; grandchildren, Jennifer Purdy and Kristin Graves; great-grandchildren, Amanda, Steffanie and Kennedy; great-great-grandson, Brayden; niece, nephew and cousins.
The family wishes to express their thanks to the Aaron Manor medical staff, aids, and activities personnel for their care of our mother. Maryann was outgoing, friendly and an "in-charge" person. She was a 4-H leader, enjoyed golf, dancing and gardening. She was the "Paul Revere" of movie notifications, Dancing With The Stars and ice skating shows at the nursing home and was also a generous "candy man".
Services are to be held privately. Kindly consider a donation to Alzheimer's Association, Rochester & Finger Lakes Region in Maryann's memory.
