Obituary of Jerritt A. Ritter

Jerritt A. "Jerry" Ritter was born in Rochester on January 5, 1944. He went home to be with he Lord on February 2, 2021. Jerry is predeceased by his parents, Charles and Hester Ritter and his grandson, Christopher Pedigo. He is survived by his loving wife, Terry Sue Ritter; sister, Merrilee Ritter; daughters, Kristen Hershberger, Kerry (Scott) Lash, Beth (Shawn) Weldin, Jodi (Gunnar) Brodner; 8 grandchildren. Jerry was a graduate of RIT and maintained his independent commercial furniture sales company for four decades. He proudly served as a Sergeant in the U. S. Air Force from 1966-1969. Jerry was an avid hunter. One of his greatest joys in life was to sit in the woods waiting for deer to pass. Jerry was dearly loved by his family. Our patriarch will be greatly missed. There will be no calling hours or service at this time. The family will plan a celebration of Jerry's life at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the VA Outreach at Donate-Veterans Outreach Center.
