Obituary of Phillip R. Fountain

Phillip R Fountain 1953-2021 East Rochester - Went home to the Lord on February 6, after a long battle with COPD. He is preceded in Heaven by his parents, Elizabeth (Eugene) Raschiatore and Oswald Fountain. He is survived by his son, JP Fountain; siblings, Nadine (Mark) Majewski, JoyceMary Fountain (John Hayes), Holly (Neal) Raschiatore Garber, Vincent (Cheri) Raschiatore; several nieces and nephews; and his family and friends at Monroe Community Hospital. Phillip was an Army Veteran, was involved for many years with the local East Rochester Republican party, and served on the Monroe Community Hospital’s Resident Council for the past 5 years. Known as “Fearless,” he will be remembered for his kind soul, loving heart, and ability to socialize with anyone. He lived for Rock and Roll Music and enjoyed attending every live music event that he could. He will be greatly missed. Phillip’s Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, March 13, 2021 9:30AM at St. Jerome’s Church, 207 Garfield St., East Rochester.
