Obituary of Claire M. Finity

EAST ROCHESTER - Predeceased by her husband, Edward Finity, her parents, Edward and Josephine Mogenhan, and her brothers, James and Edward. She is survived by her sister, Sr. Clare Francis Mogenhan SSJ, nieces and nephews, James, Marilyn, Michael, Joseph, Daniel, Jacquelyn (Phil) Conti, step-children, Michael (Candace) Finity, Kathy (Jerry) Kuper, John Finity, Susan (Phil) Masters, many great nieces and nephews, 10 great-great nieces and nephews, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She started as a social worker at the Workman’s Compensation Board, and then she developed the educational program at the Rochester Children’s Psychiatric Center. She also taught in the RCSD for 37 years. Calling hours will be on Tuesday, April 6 from 4-7 p.m. at the Harloff Funeral Home, 803 South Washington Street, East Rochester . Claire’s funeral mass will be Wednesday, April 7th at 10:00 a.m. St. Thomas More, 2617 East Avenue, Rochester. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations in Claire’s memory may be made to the Sisters of St. Joseph’s Motherhouse, 150 French Road, Rochester, NY 14618.
