Obituary of Angelo Pascazi

Ange was born in the Abruzzi region of Italy on 1/9/52. He came to the US when he was 3 years old. One of his proudest moments was becoming a US citizen. Ange was part of the East Rochester Fire Department for 42 years and was Fire Chief in the early 90’s. He was also current member with the ERFD exempts. He was NYS Fireman of the Year in 1994 for saving two lives in a fire on 12/4/93. He also helped many families in his community for 40 years being in charge of yearly Christmas baskets. He is predeceased by his parents, Bruno and Maria Pascazi, his in-laws, Joseph and Pearl Boch, uncles, Jerre Tyree, Adriano Pascazi, aunts, Illma Pascazi, Angela Nasca and many other aunts and uncles. He leaves behind his wife of 50 years, Gloria, children Gina (Rick) Rinaldo, Sandra (Rich) Waldo, Trey Pascazi, granddaughter, Kaleigh Waldo, dog, Rocky, grand-fur babies, Bear and Remi, sister, Anna Pascazi, brothers-in-law, Joseph Boch Jr., Mark (Elaine) Boch, Nancy (Andrew) Krizan and aunt, Carol Tyree, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Calling hours will be Thursday, April 22, 1-3 pm and 5-7 pm at Harloff Funeral Home, 803 S. Washington St., East Rochester. Ange’s funeral mass will be Friday, April 23 10:00 a.m. at St. Jerome’s Church, 207 Garfield St., East Rochester. Live stream link is www.stjeromerochester.org. Interment at White Haven Memorial Park. Donations may be made in Ange’s memory to the East Rochester Fire Department or the East Rochester Community Resource Center.
