So many memories of my dear friend Doris. She elevated the word friend to its highest point. We shared so many experiences from the start of nursing school through retirement. There were no pretensions with Doris - just lots of friendship. She was always there and ready to give a hand whether it was a happy event, a sad one or one that required problem solving or physical labor. I remember so many discussions over coffee at her kitchen table. Rest in peace my dear friend. You will be missed but remembered.

Dear Bonnie, Mike and entire family, I worked with Doris at MCH for over 20 years. The first time I met her I was assigned to her unit and was so impressed with her compassion for the residents and her knowledge that I was disappointed to be moved to another unit. She was not just an excellent nurse but a wonderful all around person and loved by so many. Thank you for sharing her with us, she will be missed by all that knew her. Marilyn Cronin

I met your Mom when I first went to work at Monroe Community Hospital. Although I did not work on her unit, she was one of the most kindest nurse and caring person. I never forgot her. A real passion for what she did and it showed.
