Obituary of Michael J. Alfieri

Michael Joseph Alfieri Michael Joseph Alfieri, 73, of Penfield, NY, passed away suddenly on September 13th, 2021. Memorial Mass will be held at St. Jerome’s Church on Saturday, September 25th at 11:00 am with Reverend William Leone officiating. Mike was born in Rochester, NY to John and Sarah Alfieri on January 17th, 1948. He attended East Rochester High School and graduated with the class of 1965. He worked as a Lineman for Rochester Telephone and as a manager for K-Tool Corporation. He enjoyed painting, gardening, playing blues guitar and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. Predeceased by his father, John; mother, Sarah; and brother in-law, Jack Little. Mike is survived by his wife of 45 years Anne; children, Alexandra (Bryan) Hummel and Keith (Julie); grandchildren, Dominic, Rosemary, Adaline, Rhyan Hummel, Vincent, and Sydney Hummel; sister, Connie Little; brother, John (Joanne); nephews, Andy (Kelle) Little, Chris Little, and John (Denise); niece, Jennifer (Rick) Slater; and many great-nieces and nephews. Memorial donations may be made to The Humane Society, Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Road, Fairport, NY 14450. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the men and women of the Penfield Volunteer Ambulance Service who worked tirelessly to help him.
