Losing Joe is truly a loss for his family and all those that knew him. It is impossible for me to share a memory of Joe without mentioning our beloved baseball. I played alot of baseball with 'Chipper'. He was a darn good baseball player. He could hit, and he could field (although sometimes it wasn't pretty but he got the job done), and best of all he had a Major League arm! I also very much enjoyed simply discussing real baseball with Joe and it wasn't about whatever this brand is they are playing now. Also, Joe joined me in being a die-hard Yankee Fan and was almost as opinionated as me. So anyway 'Chipper' you will be greatly missed, and it wouldn't surprise me if The Man upstairs already has you roaming the outfield for Him! God Bless my friend! Carm Morabito

Dear Boch Family I was so sorry to learn of Joe's passing, I remember him well from the days he bowled with my dad Howie Merritt . And all of you during the Fireman days when my husband belonged. Always had a little crush on Joe growing up lol. May he rest in peace and your family find comfort during this time.
