Passed away on December 5, 2021 at the age of 92. Walter is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Marian, sons, Walter Smith, Thomas (Lori) Smith, Rodney (Veronica) Smith, Daniel (Joana) Smith, Brian (Sue) Fernaays; daughters, Katherine (Don) Schwingel and Colleen (Mark) Fien; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Wells (Jo) Smith and sister, Edith Ross; and many loving friends.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, December 11 at the Harloff Funeral Home, 803 S. Washington Street, East Rochester from 3-5 pm. Masks are required. A private family only service will be held after calling hours.
