Obituary of Carmella M. Gifford

Gifford, Carmella "Millie" (Messina) East Rochester: On February 21st, at the age of 92. Predeceased by her husband, George and 7 brothers & sisters. Millie is survived by her sister, Rosemary Hayes of Brocton, NY; brother, Peter Messina of Watertown, NY and many nieces & nephews. Millie worked at the Allendale Columbia School until her retirement in 1985. She was a member of the East Rochester Seniors and enjoyed traveling, trips to the casino, and spending summers at her cottage in Chaumont, NY. Millie will be missed by all who knew her for her spirit and humor. Friends may call SUNDAY AFTERNOON 2-5pm at the HARLOFF Funeral Home 803 South Washington Street in East Rochester. Funeral Mass to celebrate Millie's life, MONDAY 10:00am at St. Jerome's Church. Interment in White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials to St. Jerome's Church or the Fairport Baptist Home.
