Obituary of Angela DiBitetto

East Rochester: Angela "Angie" DiBitetto, age 90, died peacefully Tuesday February 19, 2013. Angie was born September 7, 1922 in East Rochester to Antonio and Anna (LaPietra) Ciarelli. Angie had many accomplishments in her 90 years. She started out working for a lawyer in the City of Rochester, worked for East Rochester Lumber in the early days, opened Angela's Smart Apparel on Commercial Street in East Rochester and retired from Rochester Lumber Company in the Main Office. She was a long-time member of the local area TOPS organization where she organized meetings, gave speeches and attended many TOPS conferences. Angie was a lifetime member of St. Jerome's Catholic Church in East Rochester.
Angie is loved and will be dearly missed by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael & Diane (Monnin) DiBitetto. She is also survived by nieces, Michella (Russ) Pace, Jeannie Ciarelli & Georgeanna (Jim) Pasucci and several nieces, nephews & cousins.
Angie was predeceased by her husband, Joseph DiBitetto; sister, Mary Ciarelli; 2 brothers, George (Mickey) Ciarelli & Alfred Ciarelli and niece, Kathleen (William) Ericson.
Friends may call FRIDAY 2-4, 7-9pm at the HARLOFF Funeral Home 803 South Washington Street in East Rochester. Angie's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am on SATURDAY at St. Jerome's Church. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery - Fairport. Donations may be made in her memory to; Ontario-Yates Hospice 756 Pre-Emption Road Geneva, NY 14456.
