Obituary of Robert White Hallock

Robert passed away on February 24, 2022 at the age of 89. Bob was born in Scranton, PA, although the family moved to Rochester when Bob was in grade school, making him the first male in the family that didn’t work in the coal mines. After graduating from Monroe High School in 1950, he worked at Kodak for a year before proudly serving in the U.S. Army. Upon returning to civilian life he met and married his wife Judy and they moved to Cincinnati, Ohio where Bob would study Architecture at the University of Cincinnati. They returned to Rochester in 1964 where he eventually joined The DeWolff Partnership and worked there until his retirement. Unfortunately, Bob suffered a host of ailments which eventually landed him in St. Ann’s Nursing Home where he spent the last several years of his life. Pre deceased by his parents Robert Sr. And Grace, and his brother and sister-in-law Paul and Shirley Hallock. Survived by his wife of 65 years, Judith, daughter, Elizabeth (Jonathan) Sisskind and son, David (Jayne Bowman) Hallock, grandchildren, Ben (Samantha), Adam, Sarah, Hannah, Noah Sisskind and Jack Hallock, nephew, Matthew (Jane) Hallock and niece, Lisa (David) Garlock. Bob will always be remembered for his quick wit and his delightful sense of humor, and will forever be missed by his family and many dear friends. No calling at this time. His Memorial Service will be held Friday, June 24, 11 AM at All Season's Chapel at White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford.
