Obituary of Helen Ann Simonetti

Helen Ann Simonetti was born on May 20, 1928, in the Bronx, New York and passed away on May 14, 2022. She recently moved from Pleasantville, New York to be near her nephew, Randal Simonetti, in Fairport, New York. She had been living at the Creekstone Assisted Living facility in Fairport. Harloff’s Funeral Home managed the funeral arrangements. Helen was transported back to the Simonetti family plot in Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla, New York. Helen was buried on what would have been her 94th birthday. Helen was born to Anthony and Evelyn Simonetti on May 20, 1928. She graduated from Christopher Columbus High School in the Bronx. She then went to work for the Bank of New York and worked there for the next 40 years becoming a regional treasurer upon retirement in 1992. She was an avid athlete playing semi-professional softball and later enjoying bowling and golf with friends and professional colleagues. Helen is survived by three nephews, Randal Simonetti, (Wife Nan and children Camille and Conner) Dr. Clifford Simonetti (Children Amy and Peter) and Paul Simonetti (Wife Lisa and children Samantha, Victoria, and Olivia She is predeceased by her parents Anthony and Evelyn, brothers Alexander and John and sisters Grace and Julia. Helen was a loving, devoted and generous aunt with a witty sense of humor. She was life-long fan of the New York Yankees, Giants and Jets. She will be deeply missed.
