Kathy, very sorry for you loss. My dad (Richard), loved Doris and they had a nice life together, however, short.
Doris was the only person that planned a surprise party for me, which was very sweet. I called her often to catch up and I took Doris out to lunch and dinner often after Dad died.
We lost touch, I think she moved into a nursing home as her phone number stopped working.
I remember how much she loved to read books~
Again, truly sorry for you loss.
